As reported by the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection, Germany has ratified the Protocol on Provisional Application to the Agreement on a Unified Patent Court.

The Federal Government has deposited the instrument of ratification for the Protocol on Provisional Application to the Agreement on a Unified Patent Court. This represents an important step on the way to the establishment of the Unified Patent Court.

Angelika Langöhrig has been an honorary judge at the patent attorney division of the Munich Regional Court for many years and has now been appointed to the corresponding senate of the Higher Regional Court in Munich. The patent attorney cases panels deal with questions of professional law, which are defined by the professional code of conduct of German patent attorneys. Honorary commitment, such as that of Angelika Langöhrig, has a long tradition in the DREISS law firm.
